I attended a full day workshop on July 4, and when I was talking to a speaker during the recess, he commented on my outfit, "Looks nice! Like spring..." My response: "Oh well, even though it is almost summer, maybe you had a point when you had said so..."
Then suddenly many ambiguous ideas started to flow in my mind. Spring, spring, spring. The first season of the year, spring, summer, fall, and winter. The new beginning. He said, kind of shyly, "Is that so to you?" Of course it was! Metaphor is everything to me. Whatever ideas come up to me, no matter how silly they sound, they are the core of my concepts and perspectives.
I personally don't think that things can happen without any meaning to me in each specific context. He could have said the word spring to anybody who might have worn the same dress yesterday, but he did say that to me at the workshop.
After he wrote his message to me on my book, I also asked him to write anything that came up on his mind using "spring." Then did his write "You'll be the spring flowers." I was deeply touched for the implications at my subconscious level...
I will be the spring flowers in the barren field where nobody ever wanted to cultivate for its appearance. I will be the roots that will flourish the land for our offspring. That was my mission, and he made me realize that through all my 5 senses.
